• Organizations:
  • The Drug Policy Alliance is one of the leading groups working to reform drug policy in America.
    
  • The Marijuana Policy Project is an activist and lobbyist organization. Their stated goal is to "minimize the harm associated with marijuana."
    
  • The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) is the oldest and most widely recognized national marijuana policy reform institution.
    
  • SAFER has successfully pushed for marijuana reform in Denver and is now promoting a statewide initiative to equalize treatment of marijuana and alcohol in Colorado.
    
  • Law Enforcement Against Prohibition is a nonprofit organization led by law enforcement professionals who believe that police resources should be used for solving real crimes, rather than chasing casual drug users. Check out their video, Cops Say Legalize Drugs.
    
  • Students for Sensible Drug Policy is a nationwide network of students who want to make a difference in drug policy.
    
  • Stop the Drug War, part of the Drug Reform Coordination Network (DRCNet), offers news and analysis about various aspects of the drug war, and a marijuana news archive.
    
  • Change the Climate is an excellent organization that promotes honest and responsible drug policy.
    
  • The Campaign for the Restoration and Regulation of Hemp sponsored the Oregon Cannabis Tax Act.
    
  • Drug Sense is working to promote sensible drug policy in America.

  • Legal Reefer provides information on the marijuana laws around the United States and features an online legalization petition.

  • YaHooka describes itself as "The Guide to Marijuana on the Internet". This is a portal site for all sorts of marijuana topics.
  • 420 Times has a web-zine and a directory containing hundreds of marijuana and hemp related links.

• Other Links:
  • Phat Buds produces high quality vinyl posters depicting some of the world's best plants.
    
  • This "Symposium" from Insight on the News offers a conservative perspective on marijuana legalization.
    
  • High Times is the web version of the classic stoner magazine.
    
  • The Vaults of Erowid documents "the complex relationship between humans and psychoactives." Worth a look.
    
  • "An Alarm to America: It's time to Legalize Marijuana" - the online version of a leaflet published in July of 2000 from Richmond, Virginia. Includes definitions of liberty, hemp, and marijuana; as well the Bill of Rights and the Aesop's fable of The Oak and the Reeds.
  • The Free State Project is a plan for free-thinking folks to concentrate in one of the 50 states and restore liberty. Marijuana legalization will be on of the many reforms.
